NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Saulane Watson said it was around 7:40 on Monday morning when she looked out her window to see the flames.
“I was sleeping with my babies when that happened, and that's terrifying,” Watson said.
Officials said what led to the arrest was the security camera surrounding this home, capturing the suspect in the act.
"He doused the playpen and the car seats with gasoline. He lit it on fire. He doused the table, too. And lit it on fire,” Watson said.
Just on the other side of the train tracks from where Watson lives, officials said the suspect started another fire.
At this home, Rupert Dobbs said, he was awoken by a brick thrown through his window.
Dobbs said his neighbor helped put out the fire that had been set on his front porch, and he made it out of the home
