KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knoxville Area Project Access Kitchen and Food Pantry is helping their patients with food donations.
KAPA, which is affiliated with Knoxville Academy of Medicine, aims to help their patients connect with medical help and stop food insecurity through their kitchen and panty.
Its pantry houses donated canned goods, fruit, vegetables and other kinds of foods. Volunteers in the food pantry help families decide on the amount of food they should take based on their family size and pick healthier options to create a balanced bag for families to take home.
