BUFFALO, N.Y. — Fairy Cakes Bakeshop on Parkside Ave in Buffalo was burglarized early Sunday morning. No one was hurt, but the front door was smashed, a cash register drawer containing about $200 was stolen, according to police, and the shop’s tablet, card reader, and receipt machine were damaged.
Owner Nicolle Reed says total damages could be close to $5,000.
"We are looking at a repairing a full commercial door, our cash box, our full computer POS, our card reader, all of the things that we need to operate on a daily basis. We're probably estimating close to $5,000 now at this point."
