BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Elmwood Village restaurant recently announced the temporary closure of their dining room and bar.

In a post on Facebook, the owners of Jack Rabbit said, "Our dining room and bar are closed for now. We’ll be back soon, hopefully as soon as this weekend. Stay tuned for updates."

Right now, we do not know what caused the sudden closure. 2 On Your Side has reached out for more information but did not immediately hear back.

Back in September, Jack Rabbit contested a ruling by the New York State Liquor Authority that imposed fines and restrictions on the venue.

The bar faced allegations of excessive noise and selling alcohol to minors, which prompted the State Liquor Authority to levy a $10,000 fine and limit live music performance times.
