OTTAWA COUNTY, MI — A 78-year-old woman from Hudsonville is in serious condition after the vehicle she was driving was struck Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the intersection of 18th Avenue and Port Sheldon Street in Georgetown Township, according to an incident report from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 21-year-old Hamilton man, was westbound on Port Sheldon in a 1994 Ford Ranger when he ran a red light.
The woman was southbound on 18th Avenue in a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu when the two vehicles collided. She was transported to a local hospital by LIFE EMS paramedics.
The driver of the Ford Ranger was not injured in the crash, the report states.
