MUSKEGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Wauwatosa man is facing criminal charges after allegedly running from the scene of a crash that killed his mother.

Records show 47-year-old Casey Yiannackopoulos is charged with first degree reckless homicide, obstructing an officer, resisting an officer, and hit-and-run resulting in death.

Police responded to the scene near Hillendale Drive and Maple Court in Muskego on Nov. 2.

Officers located a vehicle resting on its passenger side in a ditch, according to a criminal complaint, with significant damage. First responders took the front-seat passenger-identified by Muskego police as a 77-year-old woman- to Froedtert Hospital, where she died of her injuries.
