November 5th is National Donut Day, but why should it be limited to just one day? We don't need an excuse to crave fresh donuts every day.

I have fond memories of when I was a youngster going to work early in the morning with my dad in Southern California. The ritual stop at the Winchell's Donut shop on the way was worth the 4:30am wake-up call for a young teenager.
