STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Tuesday that seven bridges across New York will face trailer bans during a storm forecast to bring strong winds to the state Wednesday into Thursday.

As noted in a press release from Hochul’s office, MTA Bridges and Tunnels will prohibit empty tractor-trailers and tandem (piggyback, dual, triple, etc.) trucks from crossing its seven bridges from 8 a.m. Wednesday through 4 a.m. Thursday.

Here are the bridges slated for prohibitions:

Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge

Bronx-Whitestone Bridge

Cross Bay Bridge

Henry Hudson Bridge

Marine Parkway Bridge

Robert F. Kennedy Bridge

Throgs Neck Bridge
