BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Alabama is No. 4 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2025 season, which were announced Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide is 7-1 overall and 5-0 in SEC play, defeating Georgia, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Missouri and South Carolina. Its sole loss is from Week 1 at Florida State. Alabama faces LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.
