A neurologist has issued a stark warning about a common sleep habit that could increase your risk of developing dementia. The expert revealed that it's something he never does himself.
Dementia is a syndrome characterised by a group of symptoms related to the ongoing decline of brain function. It's most prevalent in people over 65 and can lead to problems such as memory loss and changes in behaviour and personality.
While age is a significant factor, it's not the only one. Studies have shown that approximately 45 per cent of dementia cases could be prevented through lifestyle modifications.
