GEORGIA, USA — Georgians select new leadership Tuesday night, both on the statewide and local level.

These are the races impacting Southeast Georgia, as well as a special election that affects the entire state. Live results are posted to the state's official website. As projected winners are established, they will be posted here.

Georgia Special Election: Public Service Commission (PSC)

In an upset, two Democratic candidates won out over the Republican incumbents for seats on the Public Service Commission.

PSC is charged with using its influence to regulate telecommunications, electric and natural gas services and rates, including with the Atlanta-based utility company Georgia Power. Two of the five seats were up for reelection.
