Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony is firing back.
In his podcast, “7PM in Brooklyn” on Monday, Anthony finally responded to former Knicks president Phil Jackson’s criticisms of him in “Masters of the Game‚” Jackson’s upcoming book set for release today.
“I sat in the office with you, with candles lit. We had zen moments,” Anthony said, via YouTube . “Now you want to talk some dumb s--- and sit down. And this and this is why this younger generation don’t respect the former guys and other generations. That’s why there is a disconnect. Just do what you do, Phil.”
Jackson opened up about his strained relationship with Anthony in “Masters of the Game.” The book offers Jackson’s perspective on the 75 greatest players in NBA history — a list that includes Anthony.
