Ausberry will lead the search for LSU’s next head football coach, a critical role as the program looks to chart a new direction.

The New Iberia native has served as the department’s executive deputy director of athletics and executive director of external relations since July 2019.

He began his LSU career as an intern in the compliance office, then became an academic advisor for student-athletes, and later a development officer with the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
