Election officials begin releasing results as polls close across Texas

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Texas voters have completed voting on 17 proposed constitutional amendments , and election officials have started to release results.

The amendments addressed various issues , including property tax exemptions and the establishment of a research institute for dementia and related disorders. They required a simple majority to pass and be included in the Texas Constitution.
