DUTCHESS COUNTY – The early voting numbers have been recorded, and, as of 9:01 p.m., the Democrats have a sizeable lead in the race for Comptroller between Democrat incumbent Dan Aymar-Blair and Republican Will Truitt. Aymar-Blair has 14,120 to Truitt’s 6,755. Democratic challenger for County Court Judge, Kara Gerry, has 14,129 votes to Republican incumbent Judge Edward McLoughlin’s 6,691 votes.
Unopposed Dutchess County Family Court Judge Tracy MacKenzie, a Republican, garnered 10,097 early votes.
In the Dutchess County Legislature’s 14 races with two or more contenders, the Democrats lead every race with early voting numbers.
