JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - MercyHealth has reached a tentative agreement with the union that represents workers at MercyHealth East Clinic in Janesville.
President of UAW Local 95 Judy McRoberts confirmed with WMTV they are close to finalizing a deal with MercyHealth, but did not provide details of the deal.
More than 130 employees at MercyHealth East Clinic in Janesville have been on strike since July 2.
Members of the union say they are striking for better working conditions, better pay and better benefits.
McRoberts says details still need to be worked out but if all goes well, the striking employees at MercyHealth East Clinic in Janesville could be back to work on Monday.
