The NFL trade deadline has come and passed, with the New York Jets making the two most significant trades of the day.

New York completed two blockbuster trades before the deadline, sending star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. Despite the fire sale, the Jets surprisingly held onto running back Breece Hall, even though the 24-year-old actively wanted to be traded .

Hall is in the last season of his rookie contract, and ESPN's Rich Cimini reported in August that Hall would be seeking a contract similar to James Cook and Kyren Williams if he played well during the 2025 campaign.
