Voters went to the polls Nov. 4 to elect mayors and council members and decide ballot proposals in several Macomb County communities, from Eastpointe in the southern end to Richmond Township in the northern end of Michigan's third most populous county.
Nine communities were electing leaders, some newcomers, in the nonpartisan races. Ballot proposals ranged from city charter questions to funding for public safety.
