Matthew Schaller and Joseph Houck each scored twice to lead fifth-seeded Verona to a 6-0 win over 12th-seeded Secaucus in the first round of the North 2, Group 1 tournament, in Verona.

Verona (12-4) will face 13th-seeded Dayton in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Patrick Mann and Finn O’Brien also scored in the win.

Teddy Handler and Titus Halliday each recorded two saves to earn the clean sheet.

Secaucus ended the season with a 9-10 record.
