MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Dollar General employee dragged through her store during an armed robbery has quit her job over safety concerns.

The robbery at Dollar General in the 8000 block of Austin Peay Highway near Millington happened three days before Halloween.

Carolyn Ford said she thought it was a prank when two masked men came inside the store, but she realized the robbers were real when they grabbed her by the neck and hair and forced her to the ground.

"One shoved the gun in our face and said we want the money out of the register and other guy grabbed me by the back of the neck and shoved me behind the counter and said get on the floor and grab my wrists and he's dragging me across the floor to the safe and I'm trying to get my hands off of him," said Ford.
