GARDINER, N.Y. — Democratic town Councilman Michael Hartner scored a 1,316-732 win over Ryan Wiley, who was running on the Republican/Gardiner First lines, for the supervisor’s seat on Tuesday.
Democrats Roberta Clements and Wolfe Scandinaro won two Town Board seats with 1,344 and 1,321 votes, respectively. Alex Hogan, running on the Republican line, fell short with 720 shorts.
In uncontested races featuring Democrats, Julia Hansen received 1,693 votes in a winning bid for clerk/tax collector, Brian Stiscia got 1,715 votes in a successful bid for highway superintendent, and Robert Rich garnered 1,638 votes to earn a court justice seat.
