LEXINGTON, Ky. —
It wasn't pretty, but it was a win.
No. 9 Kentucky got a career-high 15 points from Collin Chandler and 13 from preseason SEC Player of the Year Otega Oweh in a 77-51 win over Nicholls.
The Cats led just 28-15 at halftime.
Kentucky shot just 32% from the field in the half, including 2 of 16 from three.
The Cats bounced back, shooting 61% from the field in the second half. Chandler scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half, going 4 for 4 from the field and 3 for 3 from three. His one two-point field goal was an emphatic, acrobatic dunk that will make the season highlight reel.

The Cats went just 12 of 22 from the free throw line.
