Democrat Jared Littman is leading the Annapolis, Maryland, mayoral race, as Republican challenger Bob O'Shea conceded, with more than 2,600 mail-in ballots still to be counted.
As of Wednesday morning, Littmann was leading with 4,291 in-person votes to O'Shea's 1,798. Just under 2,000 Democratic mail-in ballots were returned versus fewer than 500 Republican.
The official winner might not be declared until next week, according to Board of Election officials.
