HARTFORD, Conn. — In recognition of November being Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, Connecticut officials have announced the release of a new guide for navigating dementia care.
According to the state, the guide was developed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the state Department of Aging and Disability Services.
The guide is meant to give people in Connecticut information in English or Spanish regarding resources that are available to help someone living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. It can be downloaded online here .
