New Delhi: All it took a trip to Punjab, a true friend and plenty of luck for a Jaipur man to win a lottery worth whopping Rs 11 crore. Amit Sehra, a vegetable vendor, hit jackpot in the Punjab state lottery to win bumper prize Rs 11 crore. Sehra, a resident of Kotputli near Jaipur, won the top prize in the Punjab State Lottery-Diwali Bumper 2025. The result of the Punjab state lottery was declared on October 31.

Sehra had purchased two lottery tickets for Rs 1,000 from a shop in Punjab’s Bathinda after borrowing money from a friend. After buying the tickets, he went to Jaipur, where his mobile phone stopped working due to some issue. The street vendor was contacted after he won the lottery.
