The Edmonton Oilers are their own worst enemies, it seems, finding ways to lose games where they’re ahead, Tuesday night a 4-3 shootout loss to the Dallas Stars.
The Oilers gave up a lead for the eighth time in 15 games, the fourth game in a row, this time a two-goal lead that evaporated in four minutes and a few wretched defensive mistakes.
The Grade A shots in the game were 16 for Dallas, 12 for Edmonton, with the subset of 5-alarm shots nine to six for the Stars .
