The ongoing Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand, has stirred controversy after several contestants reportedly walked out following a confrontation between Miss Mexico, Fátima Bosch, and one of the organisers, Thai businessman Nawat Itsaragrisil.

Nawat, who currently heads both the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) and Miss Universe Thailand, is also the president of Miss Grand International (MGI). The dispute unfolded on Monday, November 3, during the sash ceremony when Nawat allegedly called the Mexican model a “dumb head.”
