TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —
It's hard to miss Karly Weathers out on the floor as the senior guard does a bit of everything for the Tide.
"I think for me it’s just whatever I can provide to help us achieve more and win more, and so I’m thankful that that is my role," Weathers said.
It's not the only role she plays on the Capstone, though; for her, some days start at 5:40 a.m.
"I go to clinical and I’m there from 6:30 to 2:30," Weathers said.
Call them clinical practice days as Weathers pursues a degree in nursing alongside playing basketball.
"I’ll practice from about 3 o’clock to 5:30-6, and then after that I’ll make up any shooting times or weights, anything that I missed during that day. So, my day ends typically around 6-7 o’clock."
