RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — It's election night. Several towns and cities across Wake County and in central North Carolina elected new mayors in Tuesday's voting.

Holly Springs

Mike Kondratick successfully ousted incumbent mayor Sean Mayfeskie.

According to Kondratick's website, he moved to Holly Springs 12 years ago, and his political goals for the town include focusing more on what the town stands to gain from increased development, instead of development for development's sake. His website also outlines plans for investment in small businesses, and more yard trash removal options.

Morrisville

Incumbent mayor TJ Cawley defeated two opponents in Satis
