APEX, N.C. (WNCN) — A registered sex offender was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge following an incident at a Catholic school in Apex last week, a warrant shows.
According to a warrant filed by the Apex Police Department, 58-year-old Louis Cesar Olszyk of Apex is accused of attempting to enter St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School during school hours while students were present.
Following the Oct. 24 incident, Olszyk was charged with being a sex offender on child premises, a felony offense, according to the warrant.
Court records show Olszyk was given $15,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in Wake County Court on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry, Olszyk was convicted of indecent liberties with a minor in Orange Count
