A man and child have died after a house caught fire in Connecticut in the early morning hours of Monday, Nov. 3
The victims have been identified as 72-year-old John Morris and 8-year-old Aurelian Kamp
Four other individuals, two adults and two children, reportedly were able to escape the blaze
A man and child died after a fire tore through a home in Connecticut earlier this week.
The North Haven Fire Department (NHFD) said in a news release that two calls were placed just before 12:30 a.m. local time on Monday, Nov. 3 alerting to them to the house fire on George Street.
The second caller indicated that “a child was trapped on the upper floor” of the home.
Crews responded to the scene “within minutes” and found “heavy fire involvement on both the first and second floor
