HOLYOKE — Mayor Joshua A. Garcia said he was “fired up” Tuesday as he visited polling places across the city to encourage voter turnout and remind residents that their voices matter — even in an uncontested election.
Garcia said he was frustrated by the lack of a challenger but used the day to reconnect with voters, reflect on his administration’s work and promote civic engagement.
