ARP, Texas — Arp ISD voters approved renovations to Arp Junior High, but denied improvements to the high school.

Voters considered two propositions each valued at $4.95 million. Here's a breakdown of the projects that the bond addresses:

Proposition A seeks to expand Arp Junior High School by adding four new classrooms. It also includes safety upgrades such as replacing doors at the elementary school and installing a safety barrier at the high school to block off the main hallway.

Proposition B seeks to build a new multipurpose facility in front of Arp High School. The space would serve both district and community needs.

Voters approved Proposition A, but denied Proposition B.
