PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Turquoise Alert on Tuesday night after a missing 16-year-old girl from Mesa returned home safe.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety initially issued the Turquoise Alert for Yolyn Hermios on Sunday morning.
According to the Mesa Police Department, Hermios returned home safe and was uninjured.
In the initial Turquoise Alert, DPS said Hermios was last seen near Dobson and Broadway roads in Mesa on Saturday around 7 p.m.
Hermios is Pacific Islander and is 4 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has brown hair with green faded highlights and brown eyes.
