A teacher preyed on two 13-year-old students by sending them lewd messages asking about threesomes and nudes and telling one he would take her lingerie shopping.

One of the girls told the County Court the impact of Richard Ho’s offending echoed in her “like a haunted house” and that students should never feel unsafe around their teachers.

Ho was working at Wellington Secondary College in Mulgrave when he noticed the girl breaking down in class over problems at home, but questions about her welfare soon turned into more personal ones.

“Richard Ho knew of these events and took the opportunity to prey on me,” the student said while reading a victim impact statement to the court.
