PITTSBURGH — This holiday season at the Kamin Science Center, festive fun meets discovery. The museum will transform into a destination of holiday favorites, including:
• Marveling at the Miniature Railroad and Village has been a holiday tradition for Pittsburghers since 1919. The exhibit showcases a detailed model of Western Pennsylvania from the first half of the 20th century, with animated winter scenes and historic landmarks.
• SkyWatch, a guided planetarium show, will be offered from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 6. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Spot Jupiter, stand beneath meteor showers and catch a glimpse of Andromeda
• “The Polar Express” will be shown in 3-D in the Rangos Giant Cinema on select dates between Nov. 28 and Dec. 24.
