INDIANAPOLIS -- For whatever thoughts his teammates and Pacers fans might have had and expressed for Myles Turner on Monday night, Isaiah Jackson viewed him differently.

For the first four years of Jackson's career, Turner was the Pacers' standard-bearer at center and the man Jackson had to go up against at every practice. Turner was the player who showed Jackson the ropes in terms of how to operate in the NBA and what he had to do to grow his game.
