GRAND BLANC, MI -- All three incumbents on the Grand Blanc City Council won new 4-years terms following Tuesday’s election.
Incumbents Christopher Carr, Andrew Nyquist and Norm Williams were the top three vote getters in the Nov. 4 race against challengers Madeleine Doan and Danen Williams.
Carr received 838 votes, followed by Nyquist with 806 votes, and Norm Williams with 654 votes. Doan came in at 372 votes, while Danen Williams took 282 votes, according to unofficial results from the Genesee County Clerk’s Office.
There were also nine unassigned write-in votes cast in the contest.
In an uncontested race in the city, Niles Rachut received 737 votes to win a 2-year term on the Grand Blanc Board of Review, with 26 unassigned write-in votes.
