A top Ambulance Victoria executive has left the service a month after suggestions that she misled a parliamentary inquiry.
Danielle North had previously worked at Ambulance Victoria for more than two decades and most recently served as director of its regional operations.
It comes after revelations that Ms North may have given incorrect information about illegal gatherings held during the COVID-19 pandemic to a parliamentary inquiry into Ambulance Victoria.
Ambulance Victoria hosted two funerals attended by dozens of people during Melbourne's stage four lockdowns in 2021 , constituting a breach of restrictions which applied to all Victorians.
At the time, there was a curfew for Melbourne, public gatherings were heavily restricted, private gatherings were not allowed and only 10 people
