EAST ROCKHILL – None of Pennridge’s girls’ soccer players felt much like leaving.

Their season might have ended, but the Rams weren’t ready to say goodbye to Helman Field or each other just yet. It started when senior keeper Cece DeMoss sat alone in the middle of the goal but she wasn’t there for long before the team’s captains and seniors then slowly everyone else filed back onto the field.

Central Dauphin brought a sudden end to Pennridge’s season Tuesday night, knocking off the District 1 champions 3-0 in the first round of the PIAA Class 4A playoffs.
