ROYERSFORD — If they looked closely enough, the Spring-Ford girls volleyball team could see themselves in Tuesday night’s opponents from Upper Dublin.
But when the dust settled, the Rams saw the same thing they’ve seen throughout the entirety of the 2025 season – another vanquished opponent across the net.
Spring-Ford, the newly-crowned District 1-4A champions, got off to a flying start in the PIAA-4A Tournament with a four-set victory over Upper Dublin, the No. 5 seed out of District 1. Set scores were 25-22, 18-25, 25-18, and 25-12.
“We had a scrimmage with (Upper Dublin) earlier this year,” said junior Lola DiRico, “So we knew some of what to expect, who their strongest hitters would be.”
