The Jets traded Williams to the Cowboys for a 2026 second-round, a 2027 first-round pick and defensive tackle Mazi Smith.

In 2019, the Jets drafted Williams third overall out of Alabama. During his time with the Green and White, Williams became one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL. He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and a first-team All-Pro in 2022.
