Not only does Chapmanville's football team have a perfect season going heading into its final regular-season game against St. Albans, but the Tigers are headed to the playoffs.

Coach Zach Belcher’s team, however, is ranked No. 9 in the WVSSAC Class AAA ratings released Tuesday following its 46-0 win over Class AA Mingo Central on Friday.
With one game left before the postseason, that leaves the Tigers one spot away from having the opportunity to choose site of home field in their playoff opener, as the top eight teams in each class get to do so.
Belcher said he’s played with the online prognosticator to see where Chapmanville might end up when the playoffs start.
