Manchester United director of football Jason Wilcox claims the club has ended the chaotic nature surrounding their transfer approach, while insisting that Senne Lammens' arrival was NOT a panic buy.

After missing out on the Champions League , United's tack for the summer transfer window changed. With less money to spend, the Reds needed to act efficiently.

The main area of focus was the attack with Matheus Cunha , Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko purchased. United's business looked to be done until Andre Onana's horror performance against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.

Shortly afterwards, Lammens was brought in and Onana was loaned to Trabzonspor for the season. The Belgian has since become the first choice at United and has been well received by the fans.
