A woman in her 40s has tragically been found dead on a Trafford estate.

Emergency services were called out to concerns for a person's welfare on Forsythia Walk, in Partington, on Tuesday evening (November 4).

At least three Greater Manchester Police vehicles were seen parked nearby, plus an an ambulance.

The woman's death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers are continuing with their enquiries.

Officers remain in attendance this morning (Wednesday), with at least one GMP car parked up close to the scene.
