LAS VEGAS — As Moritz Seider put it, it was a winning road trip for the Detroit Red Wings, even if the finale chafed a bit.

They get a chance to catch their breath before resuming play on Friday, Nov. 7, against the Chicago Blackhawks , after a five-game trip where there was more to like than dislike. It ended with a 1-0 loss at the Vegas Golden Knights, an early-season Stanley Cup favorite, but the Wings won three of the first four outings by showing a good deal of resilience.
