On Wednesday at 2:51 a.m. a wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Harney and Malheur counties.
The weather service adds, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
