LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)-- The unofficial votes are in for the East Lansing City Council. East Lansing residents were asked to vote for two candidates.

Steven Whelan has won the City Council seat with 22% of the votes. Chuck Grigsby received 20% of the votes.

Adam Delay received 14% of the votes while Laim Richichi came close with 14.59% of the votes.

Lastly, Kath Edsall received 13% of the votes.
