LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)-- The unofficial results are in for the City of East Lansing Charter Proposal.
61% of residents voted no on the proposal, compared to 38% voted yes.
According to the City of East Lansing, residents voted on an operations and maintenance millage proposal for services provided by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Arts.
The millage would have added 2.0 mills on real and personal property in the City of East Lansing, generating approximately $2.9 million per year.
