Police closed a section of the M90 after a multi-vehicle crash during rush hour. ‌

Traffic Scotland confirmed a collision involving a number of drivers was reported around 8am on Wednesday, November 5. ‌

Emergency services, including police , paramedics, and fire crews rushed to the crash site after the alarm was raised. ‌

One person has been taken to Ninewells hospital and another casualty received treatment at the scene.

Photos taken from the scene show the front of a white van having been completely destroyed in the smash - one of the vehicles involved. ‌

The passenger door has been taken off its hinges and ripped from the vehicle entirely.

The door can be seen resting on a barrier that divides both lanes of the motorway.
